Treasury and Trade Solutions (TTS) is a market leading, award-winning provider of cash management, cards and trade solutions to financial institutions, public sector, and corporate clients around the world. We provide clients with dynamic information, tools, and APIs to effectively manage their portfolios, financial positions, working capital and supply chains.
The Global Solution Sales Manager (Director) role in Switzerland provides a unique opportunity to manage a portfolio of Swiss clients. A good understanding of Treasury and Trade Solutions (TTS), its strategic direction, the industry, direct competitors' solutions and products and services will be required. We are looking for an individual with strong product sales skills and demonstrated excellence on origination of complex / multi-country client solutions across:
- Cash Management
- Commercial Cards
- Trade Finance
- Trade Services
**Responsibilities**:
- Increase penetration of the Bank’s Treasury and Trade Solution services within the existing client base as well as acquiring new clients for Citi.
- Lead the sales origination, pipeline development, customer revenue growth and retention for a portfolio of corporate clients.
- Become Trusted Advisor to our Corporate clients for complex cash management, treasury and working capital, and trade solutions.
- The successful individual will be provided with detailed and on the ground training, with responsibility for managing a client portfolio of Corporate Clients.
- Be seen as a Champion of Progress who delivers value to our clients and partners alike.
- Work in close partnership with our Banking Partners to develop client dialogue and provide thought leadership of Treasury and Trade Services.
- Work with control functions as and when required, such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, Finance in order to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure.
- Be part of a culture where we demonstrate responsible finance, good governance and supervision, expense discipline and ethics.
- Appropriately assess risk/reward of transactions when making business decisions.
- Be familiar with and adhere to Citi’s Code of Conduct and the Plan of Supervision.
**Qualifications**:
- Possesses in-depth knowledge of Cash Management and Working Capital Solutions along with other banking products.
- Advanced marketing and selling skills & ‘customer first’ mind-set.
- Proven track record in sale of cash management, trade, and / or technology-based consulting.
- Experienced working with large client relationships from a banking or product perspective.
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.
- Tenacious, persuasive, and articulate personality.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to deal internally and externally with clients.
- Good team skills.
- Demonstrated organizational & planning skills.
- Ability to manage & synthesize complex solutions / technical data into a single, flowing solution within tight timeline.
- Proven leadership skills.
- Recognized execution skills.
- Entrepreneurial approach.
- English language, German and French language are of benefit.
