If so joining EPAM as a (Senior) Director of Pre-Sales Technology Consulting and Pre-Sales in the GDO Practice in London could be the perfect fit for you.
**Responsibilities**:
- Lead Technology Consulting and Pre-Sales activities in the GDO Practice
- This is not a pure sales role, so you will not have a sales target or commission, but you will support the core sales teams across the practice
- Take on active role in aligning closely with EPAM’s leadership teams to help shape the business direction
- Participate in the full cycle of pre-sale activities
- Engage clients with varying degrees of maturity at the CxO level to lead innovation and the development of strategy
- Share network and knowledge both within the local/global practice
- Stay involved in the continuous process of solution/product road map planning and can make an influence on plans of business using reasonable technology-based motivation
- Provide leadership across Technology, Strategy, IT Organisational Change Management
- Identify new business opportunities and build out relevant solutions
- Build credibility with clients across several industry sectors - either new or existing
- Proactively develop and implement efficiency improvements
- Formulate and present the overall technology business case in relation to the overall business strategy
**Requirements**:
- A senior proven leader with excellent Technology Consulting experience and able to align closely with both business and technology
- Strong experience of pre-sales, bid management and acting as a driving factor in enabling a large technology business to grow even stronger
- Motivated by client account development and business growth with the natural ability to work in a diverse and complex organisation
- Contribute to the growth of the GDO business and promotion of our capabilities to clients and the market
- Whilst we are not looking for a pure hands-on Architect, coming from CTO or Practice Lead type background would be highly advantageous in your overall discissions with the wider EPAM tech business and clients
- Very social person with exceptional presentation and negotiation skills whilst being very comfortable expressing your point of view and making recommendations up to board level where appropriate
- Articulating the pros and cons of technology choices and present rational options to clients
- Excellent client-facing / onsite experience with the ability to influence and guide senior stakeholders on technical solutions combined with a consultative, problem solving approach
- Very confident in working in a very fast paced, agile and high growth delivery focused business along with all the exciting challenges that brings
- Excellent understanding of major functional capabilities across various industry sectors
- Consulting leadership in large multi-component, multi-team, multi-location projects
- Excellent commercial awareness and business acumen
- Travel flexibility as the role will involve some degree of travel in the future
