To expand our Transportation and Logistics department at our office in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced and well-connected Business Developer. The following tasks await you in this role:
- Expanding the network of decision-makers in the Transportation and Logistics sector
- Identifying business opportunities in the Transportation and Logistics sector based on the current challenges of our clients as well as the IT trends at the interface of business and IT
- Developing solutions within the scope of acquisition and business development
- Collaborating with our Marketing Team on news, campaigns, and events
- Representing Adnovum at selected events
- Establishing and communicating with strategic partnerships (co-creation) for a joint, sustainable increase in business value and profitable growth
- Developing of business cases
- Preparing commercial offers in close cooperation with our Engineers and User Experience experts as well as presentation of the offers
**What we're looking for**:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in the Transportation and Logistics sector, preferably in the implementation and development of digital solutions
- Broad network in the Transportation and Logistics sector
- Higher education in logistics, supply chain management, (business) informatics or business administration
- Solid experience in business development and sound business management knowledge for the development of business cases
- Preferably sound experience in the IT service environment
- Interest in and knowledge of new technologies and methods
- Proven negotiation skills, problem-solving competence, very good communication skills, service
- and client-oriented way of thinking and working
- Initiative, ambition, independence, and team player mentality
- Fluent both in German and English
