**Relationship Ownership**
- Build and create new industry relationships; establish a clear understanding of
the regional industry; offerings provided by direct and indirect competition;
detailed client mapping and a creating a wide-spread network of key contacts;
identification of general market trends, needs and revenue streams
**Vertical Management**:
- Drive results specifically within this sector and achieve industry sales target of
USD 1m across the Middle East region
- Develop new opportunities by introducing existing and prospective clients to
the suite of Aon Solutions services and products in order to drive and close
sales opportunities; cross and deep sell wherever feasible
- Manage the request for proposal (RFP) process coming from the industry;
participate in writing the large proposals and obtaining industry thought
leadership from Global Subject Matter Experts
- Develop regional industry-specific thought leadership and point of views in
coordination with the various practices; represent the organization and deliver
group presentations
- Coordinate with Aon and McLagan businesses within the MEA region to create
new opportunities for Aon Solutions with existing clients
- Maintain and develop the client database including sales and marketing
activities, reporting and analysis
**Consulting**
- Manage project teams to deliver unrivalled solutions across the market and to
external clients, focusing on the industry. It should be noted that the incumbent
will also be available to work on projects from different industries, when
required
- Ensure timely delivery of work and achievement of project billing, collection and
profitability targets
- Typically manage large projects
**People Management**
- Coach and develop new skills and knowledge in less senior team members
either through direct people management or indirectly by leading projects
- Ensure high levels of employee engagement at all times
**Role Complexity**:
Builds an understanding and internal network within Aon based upon the global / regional offering
- Creates own external network across the sector within region, with the purpose of building a complete
opportunities across all practices
- Works on large and complex issues where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety
of factors, including an understanding of current trends.
- Maintains standards and develops and implements new systems/ procedures which have impact on
functional area as well as on operations of internal and external clients.
- Is responsible for planning, scheduling, resourcing and executing the largest projects / programs
- Additionally management track focuses on people and financial leadership
**Discretion**:
Ensures that any decisions made within the vertical and across all practices are in line with both global
and regional strategic direction and goals of the organization.
**Interaction**:
Frequently interacts with senior level colleagues and clients, normally involving matters between
functional areas, other company divisions or units, or clients and the company.
- Often leads cooperative effort among members of a project team to deliver results. Able to influence
outcomes within broad policies and beyond the scope of their individual function.
**Leadership**:
- Plays the lead role in the management of a portfolio of client business.
- Delegates responsibility and provides guidance to team members.
**KPIs**:
- Prepares a detailed business plan on how to actively target clients in the Middle East
- Utilize existing clients across all Aon and McLagan businesses as an initial source of contacts to build own understanding of the market
- Map a minimum of 30 key players locally
- Achieve a maximum of existing utilisation levels to allow for a substantial level of time to focus on
