**Global User Experience Architect at ABB Robotics**:

**Your responsibilities**:

- Drive and develop the user
- and customer-centered mindset at ABB Robotics by overseeing and coaching teams of highly skilled designers and developers, ranging from industrial design of robots and hardware products, to user interfaces on a wide variety of devices and software products.
- Responsible for promoting and implementing Design Thinking and Human-Centered Design Process within R&D, and in the cross-functional product development value stream.
- Acts as a gatekeeper ensuring compliance of ABB Robotics Design System and Product Design Guidelines.
- Project manager in development technology development and process development projects.
- Bring the perspective of the user (their needs and problems) into the business decisions and advise about what works for the customers and what will not.

**Your background**:

- Education: Master’s Degree or Ph.D. in Interaction Design, Product Design, Industrial Design or equivalent.
- Required 5+ years UX and Product Design leadership experience in an R&D environment working with global, distributed teams.
- Experienced in User Experience or Product Design and being responsible for managing UX design and/or Product Design process and deliverables, from user research, personas and storyboards to concept sketching, and final designs.
- General competencies: Global mindset, business understanding, strong results orientation.
- Prior experience from Product Design leadership in Consumer Electronics (handheld devices) industry is meritorious.
