Job Description

In our animal health department in Switzerland we are looking for a savvy, motivated and proactive Administrative Assistant (m/f/d) to support senior management and the department. In this role you willcontribute to the efficiency of our business, get deep insights into the running of the corporate pharmaceutical animal health industry, and gain valuable experience from a great team and successful division.

  • You have some experience in general business administration, communications or marketing
  • You are well versed in Microsoft office programs such as Word, Outlook, Excel and Powerpoint
  • You are based in Switzerland, fluent in German and very proficient in English, both written and spoken.
  • You are looking to work in a hybrid working model with office attendance of three times per week
  • You have a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or similar. Bachelors Degree required, masters degree preferred

Objectives & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate scheduling and calendar management, as well as content and flow of information to senior executives
  • Provide administrative and office support, such as gather information for presentations, business reviews, and similar company communication
  • Responsible for Vendor creation, internal invoicing & general office support
  • Organize team communications and plan events, both internal and off-site
  • Manage communication with employees by liaising with internal and external executives on various projects and tasks
  • Support different functions in their projects e.g. in marketing and administrative tasks

Required skills and qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong time-management skills and an ability to organize and coordinate multiple concurrent projects
  • Proficiency with office productivity tools and an aptitude for learning new software and systems
  • Flexible team player, willing to adapt to changes and unafraid of challenges
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information related to the company and its employees
  • Ability to pay attention to detail
  • Organization skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Basic understanding of frequently used computer software and programs, such as Microsoft Office
  • Digital Native with aptitude for new channels, programs and communication channels
