Your main responsibilities
As Vice President of Finance and Accounting, you will join a fast-growing and dynamic tech company based in Zurich, Switzerland

Your main responsibilities are:

  • Drive and manage financial initiatives, budgeting processes, and KPI tracking and develop action plans to ensure financial objectives are met
  • Prepare timely and accurate reports of financial data on the operating performance of the company for the management team
  • Lead and manage the company's financial reporting process to the Board of Directors, investors and other stakeholders
  • Manage a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting structure
  • Provide adhoc and highquality financial analysis to support Clevel decision making
  • Set up and optimize tax operations including subsidiary formation and transfer pricing
  • Direct and manage the finance and accounting teams and all relevant external stakeholders, partners and consultants
  • Improve efficiency related to the company's tools and processes for billing, reporting, payments, receivables, etc.
  • Manage the company's compliance with regulatory matters for all entities

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in finance/ accounting/ controlling
  • Audit or financial consulting experience, preferably within "Big 4" environment (EY, KPMG, PwC, Deloitte)
  • Ideally additional experience in working in a fastpaced scale up/ SME environment
  • Strong technical knowledge of SaaS & startup financials
  • Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills combined with an excellent commercial acumen and judgement
  • Ability to influence key stakeholders and comfortability work with Clevels
  • Comfortable in handling projects of significant complexity and ambiguity
  • Strong interpersonal skills with line management experience preferred
  • An independent, proactive/entrepreneurial working style with a cando attitude and a willingness to do handson work
  • To use a common metaphor, "We are building the plane as we are flying it." Some of our processes and policies are not yet carved in stone; you will need to develop them and shape them
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in English and German
