As a Corporate Food Safety Manager you are responsible to develop and lead the Food Safety strategies and programs in the Lindt Group.

You will partner with the local Operations and Quality Teams, R&D, Supply Chain and Procurement to ensure appropriate product and process design, commercialization and ensuring the deployment of the risk-based food safety management program, including internal manufacturers, external manufacturers, and suppliers.

Furthermore, you will provide clear direction, communication and technical expertise on issues concerning food safety. In this role you will directly report to the Head Corporate Quality.

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Defining and drive the implementation of the Food-Safety strategies and programs
  • Leading the Food-Safety Expert, Project and Global HACCP Teams
  • Drive the global initiatives in Food-Safety, Allergen and Foreign-Body Management, Quality Culture and Process control mindset change
  • Provide guidance and support for emerging food safety initiatives or issues and provide technical expertise
  • Coordinating Supplier Quality Management for all procured products (supplier, coman, copacker)
  • Support the Lindt Performance Way (TPM-Methodology) program in the quest for zero defects

YOUR PROFILE:

  • University graduate or equivalent (preferred food science related)
  • Min. 5 years of experience in Food Safety (Quality) of a FMCG company
  • Expert in the Food Safety system environment (i.e. HACCP, Business processes, Verification)
  • Expert in Allergen and Foreign Body Management
  • Experienced in FSMA and EC legislation
  • Experienced in the global foodsafety regulatory legislations
  • Proven leadership and project management skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively to all internal and external stakeholder
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English, German of advantage
