  • Product Development Manager Sweet Goods & HC (M/F/d)
  • As Product Development Manager Sweet Goods (M/F/d) you will manage the European Innovation Product Development team and activities for Sweet Goods an Health Care in Europe. This includes providing complex technical expertise, develop cooperation with multiple customers, suppliers and stakeholders and executing innovation projects according to our goals and EHS policies.
  • You will be based in Kemptthal reporting to the Product Development Director Europe.
  • You will:
  • Drive Sweet Goods Innovation in Europe
  • Contribute to the definition of European growth strategy by working with the regions to understand Sweet Goods customer technical needs and opportunities
  • Develop and commercialize Givaudan innovation Sweet Goods products in close collaboration with the European markets and the global Science & Technology team.
  • Manage a portfolio of external collaborations with Suppliers, Startups, Customers to drive innovation in Sweet Goods
  • Support Sweet Goods & Health Care European Customers
  • Establish relationships with multiple SG & HC customers.
  • Represent Givaudan's SG & HC technical expertise with customers.
  • Lead customer visits, codevelopment with customers and product presentations at customers.
  • Develop and Share Knowledge and Expertise in Sweet Goods
  • Be a technical expert and advisor to marketing, sales, creation, and customers for SG & HC products
  • Manage and motivate a team of 4 technicians and technologists
  • Develop overall expertise within European Sweet Goods technical community through coordination and providing training programs
  • Recommend appropriate lab/pilot plant equipment needed for capital project investments
  • Environmental Health & Safety
  • Maintain a safe, clean and organized lab environment following EH&S and Food Safety policies and hold others accountable for following these guidelines
  • You have:
  • B.S. in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology or
  • Master's Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology or
  • PhD in Food Science, Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology
  • Business Fluent in English; additional language skills are an advantage
  • Used to present basic technical presentations
  • Used to manage technicians and technologists and instruct scientists
  • Understanding of Analytical/Sensory methodology
