Lindt & Sprüngli International is looking for a Corporate Sustainability Manager to join the Group Sustainability team in the company's Headquarter in Kilchberg, Switzerland.

As the Corporate Sustainability Manager, you will report to the Senior Manager of Corporate Sustainability and work closely with the Head of Group Sustainability.

In this role, you will support the department to enhance and oversee the Lindt & Sprüngli Sustainability Plan - our strategy for creating long-term added value for society, the environment, and the economy.

IN THIS ROLE YOUR MAIN TASKS WILL BE TO:

  • Support the department to develop or update global sustainability strategy proposals and implementation plans, with the potential to lead relevant cross-functional projects (e.g. biodiversity strategy)
  • Monitor regulatory developments, emerging trends, global developments and competitors to inform strategies and activities, together with accountable business functions
  • Conduct periodic dual materiality assessments and risk assessments to analyze social and environmental impacts, risks and opportunities
  • Coordinate and prepare materials for internal sustainability governance bodies
  • Support the crossfunctional Sustainability Leadership Team to review holistic performance, track and align project plans, and develop quarterly scorecards
  • Ensure suitable metrics and key performance indicators are in place to measure and drive performance and impact (in close collaboration with Controlling and topic leads)
  • Facilitate change management by developing engaging internal sustainability communications, trainings, resources, and engagement strategies
  • Coordinate, prepare and review disclosures to investors, NGOs and customers (in close collaboration with topic leads, Communications, and Legal); analyze results to identify trends, strengths and opportunities
  • Contribute to external sustainability reporting and communications in line with bestpractice frameworks and regulatory requirements (in close collaboration with Controlling and Communications)

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Master's degree preferred
  • 5+ years experience in corporate sustainability strategy and management
  • Experience in food & agriculture, consumer goods, or manufacturing sectors preferred
  • Fluent spoken and written English, German of advantage
  • Strong commitment to and passion for advancing social and environmental impacts in global value chains
  • Familiarity with sustainability risks, impacts, trends, and bestpractices
  • Highly effective collaborator with ability to work and partner crossfunctionally and influence without direct authority
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills: ability to identify trends in data and reports and to 'see the big picture'
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Sense of ownership, entrepreneurial mindset, and independent working behaviour
