To help improve performance and meet upcoming external reporting regulations, Lindt & Sprüngli is evolving its non-financial reporting processes at a rapid pace.

To support that objective, we are currently seeking an experienced
Environment, Health and Safety Reporting Manager who will lead EHS systems & reporting activities.


In this role you report to the Head of EHS, but you work closely with the Financial Controlling team and will be responsible to provide EHS reporting content.

Where the Non-Financial Reporting (NFR) Controller designs the framework of the reporting process, you provide expert knowledge and input on what works and what is required for EHS specifically.

This collaborative effort ensures an auditable and meaningful EHS reporting process for the Lindt Group, globally.

You ensure that what is required from an external and internal business perspective, is translated into a workable, standardised and more automised solution.


KEY FOCUS AREAS ARE:

  • Advise on and implement new EHS reporting and disclosure practices (including system configurations), based on a deep understanding of requirements from the Lindt business, and external stakeholders
  • Contribute to the sustainability data collection process (quantitative and qualitative), ensuring that EHSrelated information is timely and accurate, working closely with the EHS topic owners, the Controlling team and the local business units
  • This includes leading preparations for TCFD reporting, CDP response and other external stakeholders such as MSCI
  • Lead daytoday contract management for our cloudbased external reporting system provider, and be the internal EHS reporting system administrator (global superuser) and lead developer, working closely with Lindt companies worldwide

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Liase with local business units and functional teams to understand local and global, internal and external EHS reporting requirements. Translate these requirements into a workable reporting solution in our existing cloudbased EHS reporting system
  • Be the main point of contact for coordination of external GHG audit
  • Lead contract management with the external service provider for our EHS reporting solution. Continuously evolve the solution and ensure relevant and timely integration with other internal reporting systems (globally or locally), and ensure users globally are trained and knowledgeable to operate the tool
  • Work closely with the GHG Manager to understand the Company's carbon footprint and evolve datarelated improvements of the footprint across all emissions scopes, together with various Center of Excellence Content Owners
  • Support business units and functions with data insights and develop and maintain proposals for EHSrelated performance targetsetting
  • Lead the preparation of EHS data reporting and disclosure activities (e.g. CDP, TCFD reporting, Sustainability Reporting data inputs for EHS parameters) and ensure means to increase information relevance and quality with the aim of positively impacting reporting transparency, accuracy, completeness
  • Manage parallel priorities and complex projects with tieins to multiple other internal projects, ensuring high quality and ontime deliverables

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Master's degree in EHS or Sustainabilityrelated topic, Finance, Accounting, Business, Management or other technical / sciencebased education
  • Min. 10 year working experience in a corporate environment, preferably having evolved from a local data or reporting analyst (in one or multiple EHSrelated areas) into a corporate EHSrelated reporting & assurance role
  • Solid understanding of, and preferably experience in, participation in EHSrelate data audits (either internal or external processes), rebaselining processes, estimation processes, targetsetting processes
  • Solid understanding of EHS reporting and disclosure requirements (legal/standards) and trends. Knowledge of EHS metrics and protocols, in particular carbon, health, safety, and ideally also water and wasterelated metrics
  • Experience in working in a global, matrixed organisation, preferably in the manufacturing or food industry. Understanding of complexities, or direct experience in supplychain EHS reporting aspects
  • Proven experience of successfully preparing EHS reports and responses to EHS rating agencies and rankings (e.g., CDP)
  • Experience in working with the Sphera reporting solution is a plus
  • Good attention to quality and details and solid analytical skills
  • Excellent project management skills and an ability to manage multiple complex projects and diverse stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Strong interpersonal and an ability to work with both frontline staff and senior stakeholders and leaders, build rapport across functional boundaries as well as people of diverse backgrounds
