Lead the Digital Transformation of an Industrial Pioneer

Our client, a Swiss leader in
railway engineering and manufacturing
, is seeking an experienced
IT Manager
to drive the modernization of its IT landscape and strengthen its digital foundations.

You'll lead the evolution of
infrastructure,
cloud strategy,
cybersecurity
, and application ecosystem (including
Sage X3
), ensuring reliability, scalability, and alignment with the company's industrial excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership:
    Define and implement the IT roadmap in alignment with business objectives, fostering innovation and operational efficiency across all departments.
  • Infrastructure & Cloud:
    Oversee IT infrastructure, networks, and servers while leading the transition toward a hybrid or full cloud environment.
  • Applications & ERP:
    Supervise the management and optimization of
    Sage X3
    and other business applications, ensuring coherence and
    user satisfaction.
  • Cybersecurity & Compliance:
    Reinforce the company's security posture, manage risks, and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and data protection standards.
  • Governance & Partners:
    Collaborate with our partners, ensuring contract performance, cost optimization, and service quality.
  • Team Leadership:
    Guide, develop, and inspire a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

About You

  • Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (3–5+ years) in IT management within an
    industrial or engineering environment
    .
  • Solid knowledge of
    infrastructure, networks, cybersecurity, ERP systems (preferably Sage X3), and cloud environments (Microsoft Azure)
    .
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills — able to balance technical depth with business vision.
  • Fluent in
    French and English
    ; other languages are a plus.
  • Based in Switzerland, with occasional travel to partners or suppliers.
