THE ROLE

We are seeking a Trade Compliance Advisor for a global logistics organization in Switzerland. The Trade Compliance Advisor will play a key advisory role in assessing and enhancing the company's current trade compliance framework. The engagement will include a comprehensive review of existing resources, stakeholder interviews, and an evaluation of current processes to ensure optimal efficiency and compliance with regulatory requirements. Proficiency in English is mandatory for this role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide strategic advice on the current trade compliance structure and identify areas for improvementReview and update the company's Trade Compliance Manual to align with best practices and regulatory changesConduct interviews with internal stakeholders to gather insights into current trade compliance processesPerform a detailed gap analysis of the existing trade compliance frameworkSupport the implementation of findings and recommendations from the analysisCollaborate closely with the current Trade Compliance Manager and the Head of Legal to align efforts and ensure continuity

 YOUR PROFILE
Proven experience in trade compliance within the logistics and or shipping industries Strong understanding of international trade regulations, customs laws, and compliance frameworksDemonstrated ability to conduct structural assessments and process evaluationsExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skillsPrior experience in working with legal and compliance functionsAbility to work independently and deliver results with limited oversightHOW TO APPLY
