Role Description

The Supply Chain – Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing and optimizing the flow of goods, materials, and information throughout the supply chain. This role ensures timely delivery, cost efficiency, and seamless coordination between suppliers, transporters, and internal teams. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and proactive, with strong analytical and communication skills to support effective supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor logistics operations, including shipping, delivery, and transportation schedules.
  • Liaise with suppliers, vendors, freight forwarders, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
  • Track inventory levels and support inventory management to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing costs.
  • Assist in procurement and order management, ensuring accurate documentation and timely processing.
  • Prepare and maintain shipping, import/export, and customs documentation in compliance with regulations.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, freight costs, and order accuracy.
  • Analyze logistics data to identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements.
  • Collaborate with warehouse, production, and sales teams to align supply chain activities with operational needs.
  • Resolve delivery discrepancies, delays, or quality issues in coordination with stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records in ERP or inventory management systems.
  • Support the implementation of logistics strategies, policies, and best practices.
  • Assist in evaluating supplier performance and fostering strong vendor relationships.
  • Contribute to cost optimization and sustainability initiatives within the supply chain.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards in logistics operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in logistics coordination, supply chain operations, or inventory management.
  • Strong understanding of logistics, transportation, and warehouse management processes.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with vendors and internal teams.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of import/export regulations and customs procedures is advantageous.
  • Team-oriented, proactive, and committed to operational excellence.
