To strengthen our operations backbone and lead a high-performing team, we are hiring a:

Trade Operations Team Leader – Metals & Raw Materials (100%)
Your Responsibilities:
  • Lead, coach and mentor the middle office team
  • Ensure seamless execution of physical and hedged trades across our global supply chain
  • Coordinate containerized and bulk shipments, documentation, and system accuracy
  • Align physical trade execution with hedge positions and financial settlements
  • Act as escalation point for laytime, demurrage, and documentation disputes
  • Drive process improvements, standardize KPIs, and enhance reporting tools
  • Ensure compliance with Incoterms, Letters of Credit, and audit requirements
  • Collaborate closely with traders, finance, and logistics partners to optimize trade timing and delivery
Skills and Experience you bring along:
  • 6–8 years' experience in international logistics, middle office, or trade operations
  • At least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role
  • Strong knowledge of the physical- as well as derivative Aluminium market, including pricing dynamics and supply chains
  • Proficiency in LME hedging coordination, vessel chartering, and laytime/demurrage
  • Experience with Letters of Credit and trade finance documentation
  • Advanced Excel and ERP/CTRM skills
  • Fluency in English; other languages a plus
  • A collaborative, proactive mindset with a drive for continuous improvement
