We are looking to hire an Intern to join our Central Pricing Team in Zurich, reporting to a Senior Pricing Actuary. In this role you will be responsible for several topics. In more detail your responsibilities may include:

- Supporting our global Central Pricing Team and local Market Units to develop stochastic modelling capabilities in R.
- Focus will be on using existing R frameworks for stochastic modelling.
- Collaborating with team members to understand requirements, communicate results and integrate models into broader reinsurance pricing and analytics frameworks.

**Qualifications**
We are looking for an R stochastic modelling expert who seeks challenge and has a desire to learn about new products, markets, and approaches. You wish to work in a dynamic and culturally diverse environment with colleagues possessing a wide and varied range of experiences.
- Currently enrolled in a relevant university program in statistics, mathematics, computer science, actuarial science, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in R programming language, with a focus on stochastic modelling, data manipulation and visualization in R, including tidyverse packages.
- Experience with R-shiny is a plus.
- Actuarial or insurance domain knowledge not required but would be beneficial.
