**THE OPPORTUNITY**
The position of **Global Pricing Lead** (all genders) is a vital role within our **Global Product & Launch Strategy** **Function**. Here, you will lead global pricing strategies and operational pricing decisions across portfolio to enable patient access whilst maximizing the value of Takeda’s products. You will infuse pricing excellence and a value-based mindset throughout all strategic and operational pricing activities.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
**1. Value setting and preservation**:Develop pricing guidelines for launched products and global brands and govern the process for evaluating and implementing operational pricing changes for in-line and launch assets.
- Define global pricing guidance’s with pricing corridors tailored to products value proposition and environment at each stage of product’s lifecycle.
- Lead launch planning process, develop launch pricing guidance in close partnership with Global, Regional & Country stakeholders.
- Lead international reference pricing impact and risk assessment for pricing and reimbursement decisions globally.
- Evaluate the impact of price change requests and informs a response.
- Develop LoE pricing guidance’s - evaluation of pricing defence strategies globally.
- Exploring innovative pricing strategies/access solutions.
**2. Strategic Pricing**:Provide significant contributions to the development of innovative pricing strategies for pipeline products (close launch products) based on analytical assessments of value potential. Support creation and implementation of Value Based Contract models by Brand and Portfolio.
- Leverage expertise on the global pricing and access landscape to contribute to the shaping and decision making of innovative pricing strategies for key products.
- Support Access Team to define pricing strategy for new products (close-launch products).
- Identify and articulate to internal stakeholders potential innovative pricing opportunities.
**3. Pricing Excellence**:Cultivate a value-based mindset in all stakeholder interactions. Train & develop organization in pricing expertise, lead pricing information systems and tools.
- Ensure pricing excellence and accuracy across the organization.
- Lead cross-functional (sub-) teams as necessary to ensure seamless execution of pricing related activities.
**EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS**
- University degree required, Master’s degree and/or PhD in Healthcare discipline or Business preferred.
- 5-8 years pharmaceutical experience with a strong preference of direct experience in international pricing and reimbursement
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in global pricing or market access role required with LoC experience preferred.
- Experience in establishing and managing effective business processes.
