Operational Transfer Pricing Analyst 60-80%

Your contribution
In this challenging and important role you are the interface between controlling, tax and transfer pricing and responsible to manage the following matters:
Responsible for ensuring that the transfer pricing policy is correctly reflected in the financial statements of legal entities.

Review current transfer pricing policies for alignment with tax compliance and business objectives and propose changes as necessary.

Plan, budget and control transfer prices for all Tecan products and services worldwide in accordance with customs and tax law.

Perform calculations & analysis of proposed transfer pricing adjustments to ensure the material intercompany transactions are in line with the arm’s length standard.

Assess IC-transfer prices and their parameters within the framework of the budget.

Analyse and approve pricing request in line with the group’s policies and methodologies.

Quarterly/yearly review of the reconciliation of intercompany accounts from a transfer pricing / tax perspective.

Work closely with Transfer Pricing Manager to secure that all intercompany transactions are priced correctly and comprehensively documented.

Assist in the annual preparation and submission of Country-by-Country Reporting.

Monitor and where possible improve the efficiency and effectiveness of transfer pricing processes.

Participate actively in training and developmental opportunities to further enhance transfer pricing knowledge.

Your background
**We’re not just looking for hard skills**: We’re looking for people who bring their passion and talent to work. The position requires the following:
University degree in Finance or Economics
3+ years of experience as an accountant or controller in a MNE or in a large public accounting firm
Experience with SAP
Advanced Excel skills
Strong data analytical skills
Ability to work independently and with a team with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
**Data analysis and reporting**: Structure large amounts of data into clear and concise reports. Ability to analyse financial reports
Strong verbal and written communication skills, and ability to interact as part of a team as well as with various external and internal stakeholders
Proficiency in English (written and spoken), German is a plus
