**Global Strategic Pricing Director**:**

Working with Process Automation Energy Industries, you will lead the development of pricing strategies and take necessary pricing actions to maximize profit and market share for the division’s products, services and solutions while ensuring integrity, accuracy and customer satisfaction in all pricing matters, with a mandate to establish a pricing infrastructure to deliver measurable results year over year.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Develop effective and efficient standard and special pricing systems which are based on consideration of strategy, value, competition, cost and product life cycle combined to drive profit improvement
- Continuously analyze global pricing, material costs, currency fluctuations on supply and demand side, product life cycle, price efficacy and other conditions to forecast profitability. Propose strategic and operational pricing corrections as appropriate
- Develop pricing concepts to establish and manage global and/or cross divisional pricing such as frame agreements, global accounts, global segment strategies, channel partner and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) agreements
- Specify, realize and implement pricing tools and processes to support professional pricing at all management levels. Engage with portfolio and product managers, supply buyers, sales management and others who have influence on pricing and results
- Ensure pricing results in the right balance between profitability and top line growth to meet division objectives
- Foster strong and effective relationships with division global leadership and GPG (Global Product Group)/HUB product/sales teams
- Develop and implement a sustainable process for gathering global market pricing data on ABB and competitors offerings
Perform financial evaluation to assess pricing action effectiveness (price efficacy)
- Ensure that entire price management process/team is in full compliance with all ABB Policies, laws and regulations including HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) and Integrity requirements

**Your background**:

- Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related technical field. Advanced degree desirable
- Minimum 10 years related experience preferably in industrial solutions /systems environment
- Experience of designing and implementing value-based pricing concepts as well as strategic marketing or portfolio management
- Global price management, account management, sales and/or marketing experience desired
- Exceptional analytical, communication, leadership and value based selling skills required
- Language proficiency requires fluency in English
