Your mission at Climeworks is to build and lead a well-rounded project management office including the following disciplines: project management, construction management, site management, project controls (cost and schedule), document control.
- You are aware of and help to mitigate the biggest risks in the Climeworks portfolio of projects.
- You remove blockers for the individual disciplines within the PMO.
- You work closely with project development, product design and product manufacturing to ensure interfaces and roles and responsibilities are clearly defined.
- You establish fit for purpose processes and tools to help Climeworks scale the cost, size, risk and complexity of each of our new plants.
- You are well-organized and an excellent communicator to ensure that processed developed have user buy-in and retention.
- You develop and maintain our project road map for megaton production scale-up.
- You identify and fill gaps in skills along the project life cycle.
- You are willing to jump in and fill gaps in the PMO themselves and to do hands-on work.

You completed a master's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical or Aerospace Engineering, and/or Construction/Project Management.
- You have experience in both agile and waterfall project management styles, with a tendency towards executing fast-tracked projects.
- You have practical project management experience, especially in mega-projects.
- You have a minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, project controls and related disciplines - both in individual contributor and leadership positions.
- You also have gained experience in ramping production from prototype to commercial scale, while realizing economies of scale as projects expand.
- You have strong EPC contracting experience to provide the procurement team and project manager’s additional support during complex vendor engagements.
- You have knowledge of writing scopes of work and developing templates for repetitive tasks.
- You have strong leadership and management skills and are an excellent communicator, and your negotiation skills set you apart.
- You spent the majority of the time in the office or on-site but are motivated to travel up to 30%.
