**Position Overview**
Schroders Wealth Management is offering an exclusive service platform to clients who wish to invest in private equity instruments. The services includes execution transactions and the access to co-investments in private equity investment opportunities. A co-investment is typically an equity or debt investment made directly into an operating company, or via a fund or special purpose vehicle structure, normally alongside a lead investor / coinvestment partner. The services also includes the execution of the investment transaction for the client as nominee, custody and valuation services, corporate actions and investment updates.

The position in the private equity middle office business area is part of our wealth management business in Switzerland (Zurich and Geneva). It’s a challenging and interesting role where you work collaboratively with the front organisation, support functions, senior management and relevant stakeholders across regional and divisional offices.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the management of the Private Equity Middle Office
- Review the operational framework for PE transactions, specify and propose conditions, limits and enhancements
- Review/prepare and propose new product approvals
- Support in the pre-transaction phase, including due diligence and identification and verification of investments
- Coordinate the establishment and pre-screen various agreements
- Perform checks and controls of documentation requirements
- Be the leading coordinator among the various stakeholders (Head of private equity department, front office and clients, legal, operations, finance, external parties)
- Prepare and coordinate various kinds of corporate actions
- Authority to approve the feasibility and acceptance of execution-only transactions, (non-standard) corporate actions, and other transactions like transfers or compensations (for all investments)
- Maintain robust procedures and risk control framework for all kinds of private equity transactions
- Allocate private equity investments according to the private equity allocation policy
- Provide management information on private equity deals

**Position Requirements**:

- A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant work experience in a similar function and international environment, preferably in the fields of private equity administration a/o client documentation or corporate actions.
- Legal, audit or accounting background is an advantage
- Leadership qualities
- Strong sense of responsibility and risk awareness, diligent and structured approach to work
- Willingness to constantly learn and improve
- Proficient in English, any other language a big plus
- A sound level of IT literacy with proficiency in MS office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
- Excellent communication and open-minded personality
- Hands-on and self-driven
- Positive attitude with a willingness to provide the highest level of customer service (internal and external)
- Abiltiy to work on a varienty of tasks effectively and under pressure to achieve deadlines
