ABB’s Electrification Business Area is a leading provider of a full range of protection, control and measurement solutions - enabling safer and smarter electricity flow from substation to the point of consumption. We deliver products and systems designed to connect, protect and control electrical systems, ensuring reliability, efficiency and safety for equipment and personnel. As a Global Marketing Communication Manager (MV GPG), you will be supporting the implementation of the global communications strategies for the Medium Voltage Global Product Group. Deploying your skills in content creation, content management systems, branding and corporate identity, product launches, messaging, and customer experience. You will be contributing to lead generation, awareness growth, driving collaboration across all teams and channels globally to support the profitable volume development.

Global Division Communications Manager

**Your responsibilities**:

- Supporting the development and execution of all external and internal communications related to new products/offerings within your GPG. Ensuring alignment with ABB branding and overall Corporate, Electrification Business Area and Division guidelines
- Supporting the development of global messaging based on innovative technology, new products and customer needs
- Sales enablement: supporting the collaboration across internal units and sales channels to position and articulate the entire ABB story, and to promote distribution solutions
- Active engagement on relevant online channels such as web, intranet, social media, MS Teams
- and Yammer-groups, etc. for the GPG publishing content, managing campaigns, maintaining platforms, tools and systems for keeping all information about the portfolio and offering updated
- Safeguarding brand identity, corporate design and regulatory compliance in all product marketing, both internal and external for the GPG
- Supporting regions/countries with relevant content and ensuring brand compliance for local trade shows and customer events
- Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business

**Your background**:

- Degree in marketing, public relations, or other relevant discipline with minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, communication management or public relations - business-to-business preferred.
- Understanding of the impact and potential of communications on an organization’s brand and culture, and ability to deal with complexity and cooperating with different functions in the organization.
- Flexible with experience creating and building relationships remotely across geographic and cultural boundaries, collaborating between and beyond formal organizational structures and responsibilities.
- Experiences in marketing automation programs (Pardot), content management systems / CMS and graphic editing (Adobe Indesign) are very much appreciated.
- Strong interest in learning to execute product launch projects, campaigns and communication plans for new technologies and solutions.
- Knowledge and experience in creating content for all aspects of internal and external communications mix and an ability to effectively collaborate with agencies and suppliers.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken), preferably with experience in copywriting and editing for business communications as well as with MS Office, mostly Word and PowerPoint.
