The role of Global Internal Communications Manager is to and execute an innovative and compelling strategy that supports the business, drives employee engagement, and helps to build a customer-first, people-centered culture where employees feel connected, engaged and inspired to make great things happen. You will join a newly-formed team that is defined by collaboration and a vision to inspire and engage through communications.
**This position reports to**:
Global Division Communications Manager
**Your responsibilities**:
- Developing the internal communications strategy for Service, in coordination with Division management team to create and foster engagement around relevant strategic topics.
- Identifying internal communications needs, and develop and implement communication plans in a timely, relevant, engaging, and expert manner, across multiple internal channels.
- Driving awareness and engagement in Service within and beyond the division, as content lead for internal communications.
- Overseeing the Service internal editorial calendar and process in line with global processes, communications processes, templates and tools developing and creating cohesive content with a focus on bringing Service priorities, successes and the organization to life.
- Collaborating with functions, markets, hubs and other divisions to develop and influence internal communications ideas and ensure flexibility in campaigns to scale local activation in a meaningful and relevant manner.
- Overseeing and developing internal digital platforms, such as Inside+, Yammer, as global platforms for dialogue and engagement, and develop global employee events.
- Setting internal communications KPIs to monitor and measure effectiveness of internal communications initiatives. Manage all costs within agreed budget and strive for efficiencies wherever possible.
**Your background**:
- 7 years of external communications or media relations experience in a culturally-diverse, global organization. Global, regional and/or B2B experience preferred
- Content, copywriting and storytelling skills, experience in creating and editing digital and online content and messages
- Ability to form and leverage positive working relationships / networks across organizational boundaries.
- Passionate about digital communications and the power of social media
- Undergraduate degree or higher in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, or related area
- Native/ fluent English, any additional languages a plus
- Experience working with senior leaders, strong stakeholder management skills
