As a result of our successful partnerships with several agencies across the UN network, we are looking for a **_Strategic Account Director _**to continue to drive sales of Tableau solutions within the **_Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) _**Vertical and other agencies assigned to the United Nations family of accounts. You will be representing Tableau and our product suite across THE EMEA region, leading the entire sales cycle, and will play an integral role in the overall sales team. You will have a long and proven track record of selling solutions to NGOs and their corresponding agencies, as well as an exceptional understanding of these organizations, political landscape, and dynamics. You know how to work with and influence senior Executives, Ministers, Diplomats, Ambassadors, and other key influencers. This is a highly visible role within the Tableau and Salesforce business and one that offers the opportunity to really make an impact on agencies that are making a difference across the globe. You should ideally be based in Rome but other locations could be considered - London, Paris, Frankfurt/Munch, Geneva or Amsterdam.

Some of the things you’ll be doing include...
- You’ll be working closely and collaboratively with your SalesForce counterparts and virtual teams, build and define strategic account plans to identify and map sales opportunities.
- Leveraging your relationships within these agencies to pro-actively connect with key decision-makers and influencers to nurture Tableau’s relationship with accounts of all sizes.
- Driving value-led business conversations to key stakeholders to show the impact Tableau solutions will have on their organization.
- Developing and managing partner relationships in Non-profit Organizations, Associations, and non-governmental organizations.
- You’ll be responsible for coordinating additional resources throughout the sales cycle to support your sales efforts - including product support and sales engineering.
- Leveraging Executive Sponsors from Tableau and the wider SalesForce business to further drive larger sales opportunities.
- Keeping abreast of the competitive landscape and current affairs across the vertical.
- Maintaining excellent communication with management, customers, and your wider support team
- Travelling to customer locations to support your sales efforts when required, as well as travel to NY to partner with the SalesForce Global Account Manager for the NGO vertical.

**Who you are**
- **Experienced. **You will have at least 10-15 years of quota carrying experience selling Enterprise Software/SaaS solutions, and at least 5+ years of selling to NGO Vertical. You have a track record in closing 5,6 and 7 figure deals; Working across teams, time zones, and cultures is a big plus Experience with the UN is desired.
- **Performer **. You consistently challenge yourself to exceed whatever goal you’re given, which is reflected in your track record of quota overachievement year on year.
- **Domain **. Extensive experience in selling Experienced in selling Business Intelligence, Analytics, Data Warehousing, Predictive Modelling, or similar is preferred but not essential.
- **Executive Presence**: You’re a trusted advisor and industry expert. Your charismatic manner and diplomacy skills enable you to build, network, and navigate relationships with anyone from end-users to senior leaders.
- **Curious**: You’re inquisitive and always looking to learn and discover what your customers need and want. You keep on top of market trends and competitive issues and thrive on improving your own skills.
- **Outstanding Sales Professional**:You’re an expert at proactively leading prospects and customers through a sales cycle and understand how to ‘drive a deal’ from a transactional business to Enterprise-wide multi-year agreements. No deal is too big or small for you.
- **Excellent Communicator **. You know what to say, and more importantly, how to say it. Networking and relationship building is in your DNA. You’re able to have value led business conversations across all levels of an organization
- **Missionary. **Highly driven individual with an execution focus and a strong sense of urgency and a belief in Tableau’s mission. You can go beyond relationship management.
