**MOTR Product Line Manager Retrofit (flexible location)**:

In this role you will ensure profitable business growth for Motion Traction (MOTR) Global Service Business and Division overseeing Local Division retrofit Business, including Marketing and Sales, Service Execution, Project Management, Supply Chain, and Quality. This role is open globally with a preference for countries in European time zone.

Global Head of Traction Service

**Your responsibilities**:

- Plan, monitor and develop a global product portfolio in strategic businesses.
- Contribute to business strategy definition, translate business strategy and market requirements into competitive portfolio and manage associated portfolio planning, investment and development activity.
- Define a go-to-market model and segment strategy and align with the operational/execution path.
- Lead Product Management teams in order to meet global results.
- Manage a global product portfolio (of software, hardware or services) throughout its whole life cycle, with responsibility for offering profitability.
- Leads continuous business analysis of the existing portfolio and potential new portfolio items including analysis of alternative investments and reviewing potential partnering options.
- Define brand and product portfolio offering and positioning in cases of multi
- brand ownership.
- Lead offering and solution strategy creation.
- Contribute to business strategy definition and translates business strategy into the offering and solution portfolio Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) partnership activities, defining brand, offering portfolio and related business strategy.
- Oversees localization, footprint, technology transfer and trading model strategy.

**Your background**:

- 10+ years of experience in a Managerial Technical Sales, Project/Program or Product management role
- Master degree in Electrical Engineering (preferably power electronics)
- Strong demonstration of commercial skills (negotiations, contract management/obligations)
- C level communication skills
- International experience and/ or experience working in multi cultural and multi location(remote) teams
- Experience or strong interest in the rail business
- Strong command of English, German is a nice to have
