**MOTR Division IS Manager (location: Switzerland, Poland or Germany)**:

In this role you will lead the Information Systems (IS) Function in Motion Traction division (MOTR), together with the local support of other Divisions. You will develop and implement the Division IS strategy & architecture, in alignment with the Division and IS function strategies, and you will ensure effective IS governance and delivery across the Division, in line with ABB way. Also, you will partner with the division management team to drive digitalization in the division itself, co-creating with Product Groups, functions and other process owners the processes and solutions needed to support MOTR operations and drive value creation in the division. You will collaborate closely with other IS teams as needed (BA, IS Services, Core IS) to ensure effective end-to-end IS delivery, being responsible for developing, implementing and running the IS solutions and services within the Division. The role will report directly to MOTR Division President and functionally to Motion Business Area CIO. The role is open globally but location is set in Switzerland (Turgi), Poland (Lodz) or Germany (Berlin).

**Your responsibilities**:

- Define a clear vision and objectives for IS in MOTR that engages division management.
- Design, implement, and communicate a division IS strategy and architecture to achieve this vision.
- Take responsibility for the Division IS budget and ensure that IS performance for the division is regularly reported and reviewed.
- Design, build and lead a Division IS function to support the MOTR division strategy and needs, leveraging appropriate common IS services from BA IS and core IS services from group.
- Define data and process governance model for the division and work together with relevant functions to implement the model.
- Drive the digitalization of MOTR internal operations by challenging the organization and by bringing the latest digital technologies into practical use.
- Be accountable for delivery of distinct IS solution/service/support within own division aligned with business objectives and within agreed budget, time, and quality.
- Partner with business stakeholders and division/function management to map business demands to existing or new IS solutions in area of responsibility.
- Set performance targets, and monitors progress against agreed quality and performance criteria, providing effective feedback, throughout the performance management cycle, to ensure optimum performance.
- Actively manage IS spend, costs allocation and rolling forecast and ensure financial accuracy and transparency to optimize controllable IS spend and ensures value added investments.

**Your background**:

- Bachelor’s or higher degree in a relevant field.
- 15+ years of experience in Business (Demand side) IS with gained, ideally, in a global, cross-cultural, and cross-functional work environment.
- Proven ability to lead teams distributed across geographies.
- Proven experience in developing IS strategies and architectures.
- Excellent Project Management skills and demonstrated experience in managing activities within a complex environment and with a matrix organization.
- Proven organizational and planning skills with attention to accuracy and detail, high degree of self-motivation and ability to work independently in a fast-changing industry.
