In this role you will be leading the execution of strategic projects in Business Area or Division functions at local/multi-national/Region level, using either ABB and/or 3rd party resources, and ensure that all related activities are executed in accordance with company procedures, project objectives, applicable quality standards, safety requirements, cost and scheduling targets.
**This position reports to**:
IS Operational Effectiveness Lead - IA
**Your responsibilities**:
- Ensuring successful delivery of the IS project and closely collaborate with Business Project Manager on overall project deliverables.
- Planning, scheduling, coordinating and deliver the IS project outcomes to time, scope, cost and agreed quality.
- Executing IS project communication; report IS project performance against plan and expected business outcome.
- Ensuring appropriate ABB IS Project Management standards and methods are followed.
- Managing stakeholder expectations and relationship. Collaborating with IS Managers and Service Managers as required.
- Managing and leading the project team allocated to the project; coach, develop and provide feedback regarding individuals allocated to IS project.
- Defining jointly with Business Project Manager, all project documents, including scope and financial plans, schedule and risk management plans.
- Effectively monitoring and controlling project progress, proactive manage and mitigate project risks.
**Your background**:
- Project Management knowledge in area of IT/IS, supported with minimum of 3 years of Project Management experience with ABB IS Project Manager level 2 or related.
- Demonstrated experience in management of project scope, cost, schedules and vendors/subcontractors.
- Knowledge of IS Project Methodology, IS Project Governance Model and Agile Project Management.
- Experience with ABB Project Management Methodology and tools, or similar solutions.
- Sound understanding of infrastructure and security related questions and topics.
- A collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, management or related fields, or related work experience.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
