**What you will do***

**Responsibilities will include**
- Create value for Tecan’s current and future customers and shareholders by delivering to the highest standards and being closest to the needs of the customer
- Confidently achieve Tecan’s revenue and profitability goals for the assigned products/product line
- Ensure products within your responsibility are delivered to the sales organization and customer in a quality that meets customer expectations
- Be a positive contributor to the team environment and work effectively in a cross functional role to achieve goals
- Maintain a professional profile to enable external promotion of Tecan products and initiatives
- Contribute to the development of strategy for the relevant product areas
- Create / support marketing plan for each year for responsible product lines
- Manage assigned product PCTs. Provide input for product support budgeting process
- Maintain product specific KPIs
- Monitor pricing of products in various market units to maximize the profitability of Tecan products in the market
- Execute Market Research Activities
- Manage the life cycle of the solution/product portfolio from new idea proposals to early concept through to implementation, launch, growth and phase-out
- Support product development teams with reviews of planning, implementation, test plans

**What you bring along**
- Bachelor in Chemistry/ Biochemistry degree or similar technical or scientific education. Further education in Sales/Marketing or Software Engineering/Computer Science a plus
- Experience and understanding of regulatory processes and procedures with emphasis on Europe and USA (IVDD, FDA, QSR, CFR 21, GMP and GLP)
- Working experience with customers: collection of requirements for the development of User Need documents
- Work experience with liquid handling robotic software packages in a life science research or diagnostics laboratory a plus
- Fluent English required. Any other language is of advantage
- Strong communicator with a solution and team-oriented mindset
- Openness to travel
