The Risk & Finance Manager will have an opportunity to be the architect of the business risk management department coordinating the interactions among the internal teams. Reporting to the COO, he/she will assist to oversee the risk management and finance aspects of the firm.

Mission
**Job description/ key responsibilities**:

- Operational Due Diligence on Hedge Funds
- Monitoring of the investment risks linked to the funds, pre
- and post-trade compliance checks, ensuring timely management, escalation and remediation of breaches, production of reports
- Monitoring of investment risk on mandates (Discretionary and Advisory)
- Monitoring of the Investment Constraints and Risk on Private Equity
- Member of the Investment Committee for Liquid Alternative
- Production of reports to the attention of Risk Committee/CRO//EXCO/BOD
- Firmwide Operational Risk. Work in collaboration with Group Chief Risk Officer
- Organize and lead the SYZ Capital Risk Committee encompassing Hedge Funds and Private Equities
- Support on the finance area : implementing models for calculating management /carry costs, etc.; Invoicing/Controlling revenue aspects of our products (Liquid Alt. ADV, Liquid Alt. AM and Illiquid PE)

Profil
**Professional experience**:

- Bachelor's Degree in Finance and/or CFA and/or FRM
- Minimum 7-8 years’ experience testifying to sound knowledge in Private Markets and Asset Management (in alternatives boutique)

**Technical skills**:

- Regulatory environment : AIFM / UCITS + CH a plus
- VBA coding (and any other languages a plus - Python. Matlab, R, etc.)
- Alternative soft and Webfolio - a plus
- Bloomberg

**Personality characteristics**:

- Team player, flexibility
- Analytical skills, organized
- Motivated and able to work under pressure
- Strong drive and pro-active attitude, pragmatic
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- High integrity, independent and individually motivated
- Self-driven and proactive in solving problems, mitigating risks and finding innovations

**Language requirements**:

- French and English fluent
