**What you’ll do**

Realize our growth strategy and ambition to become a solution selling leader, we need to strengthen our ability to develop appealing and relevant concepts and solutions that enable our customers to bring differentiated innovative products to market with substantiated scientific claims on pack. To fulfill this purpose, you will focus on the following areas:

- Provide project management to the global team responsible for the creation of appealing final product concepts and prototypes with proven claims to support the segments and regions
- Development of marketing components for the concepts including branding, consumer/patient appeal and pack design
- Shape the agenda as part of our innovation pipeline from a marketing point of view in terms of how we develop and create concepts
- Communicate the marketing story behind the concepts

As it is anticipated that this team will scale quickly, the role will also need to provide strategic leadership to the team to ensure resources are added in a timely and efficient manner to ensure a quality service to the segments and regions.

**Your key responsibilities**
- Project management, collect and prioritize needs from the regions and global segments to develop new innovation concepts, support customer briefs and regional concept innovation efforts. Provide project management to agreed projects ensuring timely delivery of agreed concept criteria (paper concept through to final product prototype) with supporting approved claim messaging and marketing story.
- Database management & communication, set-up product concept database as a resource that can be accessed to quickly address customer brief requirements. Continuously update database as new innovation product concepts are development. Ensure database is maintained and communicated and remains a live asset to the global and regional segment teams for utilization in customer brief response
- Strategic leadership, provide strategic leadership around the resource capability and capacity to deliver final product concepts to customers. Partner with innovation, regions and segments to determine best resource set-ups to ensure continuity of delivery, positive customer experience and future resource planning as we move from a business focused on selling single ingredients (straights) to one focused on selling market ready solutions and premix (blends of ingredients).

**You bring**
- Degree/MBA level in a business, marketing or related fields
- Industry experience in dietary supplements, medical nutrition, or flavor business
- Proven leadership and project management skills
- Strong marketing skills, with a track-record on concept development, story-line development and leveraging consumer/patient insights
- Experience in partnering with technical teams and bringing innovation to market
- Ability to be hands-on, agile in responding to multiple resource demands and customer requests
- Selling experience and ability to pitch an idea and engage customers and internal stakeholders.

In HNC is organized by segments: Dietary Supplements, Pharma, Medical Nutrition, Early Life Nutrition and Nutrition Improvement are the segments relevant to this role.
Within HNC, commercialization has been identified as must-win priority. Our goal is to develop Market Ready Solutions (MRS) and appealing concepts for our customer that leverage our unique portfolio and science capabilities.

To fulfill our must-win priority, DSM is aiming to create a dedicated and agile core team to focus on a consumer-centric development of concepts and solutions with a fast-track approach. The concepts will include not only the scientific rationale for the development but also validated claims to be included on the product pack.

The agile core team will consist of the Global Marketing Manager - Health Benefit Concepts, Segment Translational Science roles, as well as selected members of the Global Application & Formulation Centre (GAC), depending on the project scope. Within this team, the Global Marketing Manager - Health Benefit Concepts Manager, is responsible for the development of the marketing aspects related to the product concept and the overall project management.
