This division focuses on the development, production, and supply of essential ingredients, active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), and other pharmaceutical products. It leverages the combined expertise of DSM and Firmenich in biotechnology, chemistry, and formulation to address the needs of pharmaceutical manufacturers and healthcare providers, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and sustainable pharmaceutical solutions worldwide.
As the Global Marketing Director Pharma at dsm-firmenich, you'll lead strategic growth plans for the Excipients market. Dive into market trends, craft compelling campaigns, and collaborate across teams to drive value creation. Shape our Excipient portfolio, including Taste Solutions and emerging technologies, turning insights into actionable strategies for sustainable growth in the Pharma Segment. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Develop and implement global strategic marketing plans to drive revenue growth in the Excipient segments, lead regional collaboration and adoption
- Manage the full marketing mix including positioning, messaging, distribution, promotion, and product focus
- Analyze market trends, unmet needs, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities and shape innovation strategy
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, regulatory, technical development, technical development, and legal teams to support claims development and business goals
- Drive new business development initiatives and innovation projects to expand the portfolio, both organically and inorganically
- Build and maintain a network of industry contacts to strengthen the dsm-firmenich brand and support long-term growth
- Develop and implement alternative business models to ensure mutual value creation with customers based on expert services

**YOU BRING**
- A technical university bachelor’s degree with specialization in chemistry, biochemistry, formulation science, or pharmaceutical science
- Additional master’s in business or marketing is a strong preference
- Minimum 10 years of B2B marketing or business development experience in the science-based pharmaceutical ingredient industry is a must criterion
- Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical ingredient market, including Specialty Excipient manufacturing
- Proven success in developing and executing B2B marketing strategies, including positioning, innovation, and competitive differentiation
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and work cross-functionally in a matrix organization
- Project management experience with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience working internationally or cross-culturally
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
