Vitamins Marketing Intern

**The Challenge**:

- Within HNC, the cross-segment marketing team supports our segments and regions with marketing capabilities: Health Benefit Solutions program management, Marketing Communications, Business Insights and Product Marketing with a common goal of driving growth and making a purposeful contribution to society and the planet. With the exception of Marketing Communications the team also supports the F&B business group. Within Product Marketing, the different products looked at are Vitamins, Lipids, and Premix and we also facilitate other cross-segment product marketing activities. As a business we are on a journey from selling products, (and contracting production space in our factories to produce them), to focusing on how we support the health and nutrition of humans (and animals) as part of our positioning as a Health Nutrition and Bioscience company. This role will contribute to the productivity of our Vitamins marketing effort and play a role in supporting the sales organization in starting conversations with customers around how our vitamin products can help assist their consumers and contribute to their overall health and well-being

**As a Vitamins Marketing Intern, you will**:
**Value Propositions**
- Update **product value propositions **based on health claims the vitamin supports and scientific evidence in our claims database(s) as well as product, customer and competitor insights
- and ensure these are loaded into the relevant digital platforms (Academy)
- Support the global vitamins marketing manager with the **global dissemination of the value propositions**, including the loading on the HUB sharing platform. Use data and other feedback loops to monitor effectiveness and capture suggested improvements
- Support assessing and analyzing **current and future market development**, internal and external technological dynamics, customer needs and competitor developments, resulting in a **clear direction for development of the product portfolio**

**Business development for Vitamins**
- Support the global vitamins marketing manager in the development of **engaging learning paths** to be placed on the Academy. Review usage data and other feedback loops to suggest refinements / additional modules
- Partner with Marketing Communication and other stakeholders to develop and update **additional marketing materials **that support the story-telling of our vitamins portfolio e.g. presentation slides in customer presentations, videos etc.
- Review the **global project pipeline **and other data to spot opportunities for new business development as well as effectiveness of riving large opportunities and follow-up to ensure project implementation and execution

**Innovation launch support**
- Support the global vitamins marketing manager, segment teams and F&B business in the launch of **new vitamins innovations **by developing engaging marketing materials
- Monitor **launch effectiveness** through end-to-end data available on our various digital platforms and prepare executive summaries to support management discussions
- Bachelor/Master Degree in science, nutrition, food/technology with ideally marketing/sales experience, or experience at pitching business/innovation ideas for funding or prizes. MBA students with prior science backgrounds would also be considered
- Experience in defining value propositions, developing customers, supporting technical marketing discussions would be advantageous
- Ability to manage several projects simultaneously
- Knowledge or passion for human health, well-being and nutrition
- Excellent English communication skills; additional languages a plus
- Key networking and listening abilities
- Strong communication and social skills combined with cultural understanding and awareness
- Energetic, passionate & outside the box thinking
