**Head of Business Development EMEA at ABB E-mobility**:
**Reporting directly to the CCO & President of the Europe Region, you will have primary responsibility for driving the evolution of existing and creation of our next generation business models. You will also be responsible for advancing our Europe Region’s strategy overall, in close collaboration with our Europe Region leadership team, and in line with ABB E-mobility's global strategic ambition. This position covers a wide array of tasks, ranging from market analytics, customer assessment, product requirements specification, strategy, project management and execution of strategic initiative to evolving our pricing excellence. You will be leading a team of 2-4 business development, strategy, and pricing professionals.**:
We are looking for someone who is excited to embark on a longer-term journey with ABB E-mobility. The Head of Business Development role is a great opportunity to be exposed to and become acquainted with all aspects of a Division P&L, including strategy, sales, sales operations, service and financial planning. In this context, this position as an exciting training ground for complementing your business and managerial skillset, and to eventually further advance within our organization. You will be part of our Division leadership team and as such be driving important initiatives, aligning with key functional stakeholders across the company (incl. product, hardware, software, operations, finance, HR), leading cross-functional teams as well as preparing executive-level decisions.

**Your responsibilities**:
- Create and deliver business strategy, which aligns with our organizational priorities to achieve defined targets
- Support the planning and execution of strategic programs within EMEA
- Quantify market opportunities across various products and services
- Assess different customer focus segments, ranging from public CPOs (Charge Point Operator), fleet operators to public transit authorities to inform our go-to-market approach
- Analyze current and emerging needs of our customer
- Assess the development of pricing guardrails for solutions and services in EV (Electrical Vehicle) charging and energy
- Work closely with our hard and software product teams to ensure key market trends and customer requirements are considered early in the development process
- Work closely with our sales organization to both provide and collect market intelligence
- Work with our finance colleagues to ensure a harmonized approach to pricing and a robust financial forecasting and planning process
- Review and further advancing our approach to service level agreements (SLAs) with our customers
- Be actively involved in strategic and operational planning with the CCO & regional leadership
- Build an effective, high-performing business development team with the mission to attract, excite and develop high-performing talents
**Your background**:
- Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills, combined with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Technical and/or commercial background and an understanding of the E-mobility infrastructure and charging or mobility industry.
- Comfortable working in dynamic environments, with fast decision-making under uncertainty, and have experience working directly with top-level management.
- 5-10 years of working experience in strategy, business development in B2B international markets e.g., utilities, renewables, logistics, transport or mobility industries, or strategy consulting
- Ability to grasp complicated matters fast and capability to break down and solve multi-facetted problems
- Independent, self-driven, someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, growth venture environment
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Solid time management, coupled with strategic and entrepreneurial mindset
- Experience in EV charging industry preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Bachelor’s/master’s degree, or higher in engineering, business administration
