Working as a Head of SCM you will report to the Global Operation Manager of the Business Line Mining and you will support the development and ensures communication and implementation of Global Procurement strategies.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Strategic support: Supports development and implementation of Global Procurement strategies for areas such as direct Materials & Services, Trade & Transportation, Strategic Sourcing, Costing, Risk Management, Supply Base Management, Supplier Quality and Sustainability
- Process & tools: Contributes to development and implementation of Procurement standards, tools and processes in a global organization
- Excellence: Analyzes problems to identify best solutions and implements improvements to ensure effectiveness and efficiency
- Identifies, documents, and communicates best practices by benchmarking, surveys and case studies to establish frameworks and preferred business practices
- Training: Identifies training needs and provides training to ensure successful implementation of global & local initiatives
- Change management: Fosters change management within a global organization
- Communication: Establishes clear and transparent communication internally, externally, and between different organizations
- Business continuity: Establishes and enforces processes on business continuity in a global & local organization

**Your background**:

- A Bachelor’s degree in Management, Economics, Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum10 years of experience in supply chain management including minimum 05 years on the field of global sourcing for direct materials and services for industrial solutions
- Demonstrated ability to work within a multi-cultural and international environment with standard operating procedures
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
- Proactivity, teamwork skills, problem solving, and result orientation
- Additional languages and understanding of Trade Compliance regulation (TC) is an advantage
