**Your role**
- Are you interested in the alternative fund industry? Are you a self-driven person willing to be responsible for the legal representation services for UBS funds?
- We are looking for a Lead Legal Representation Services to:
- act as a Project Manager for the onboarding phase of new clients and coordinate the various UBS internal streams (due diligence & distribution) as well as external stakeholders
- manage the client relationship for existing clients and perform all duties of a legal representative as set out in the Collective Investment Schemes Act (CISA), including but not limited to information, notification and publication duties for UCITS & AIFs
- oversee the appointed outside counsels and periodic exchanges to ensure adequate service level
- handle the integration of the Credit Suisse business in close collaboration with the same functions across location
- work on the ngoing improvement of existing processes in accordance with the global function
- act as a single point of contact for internal and external foreign fund providers as well as internal stakeholders during the on-boarding / project phase and beyond
- be the single point of contact for FINMA for product/fund related matters and queries
- participate to working groups and acting as expert for our legal representative business

- You’ll be working within the Management Companies Delegation Management team in Basel.
- The team is responsible for overseeing its appointed delegates for the different fund management functions for the Swiss domiciled UBS and White label funds.
- As the lead for legal representation services you'll work closely with your peers in other locations as well as with internal and external clients/stakeholders overseeing the foreign funds landscape with distribution in Switzerland.

**Your expertise**
- University degree in Law (bachelor degree or higher); CAIA/CFA qualifications would be a plus
- over 5 years of financial sector experience with a focus on legal fund documents and contracts
- strong interest for (alternative) investment funds universe
- strong written and verbal English and German is a must
- excellent communication and relationship management skills in a client facing environment
- self-motivated working attitude with good negotiation and presentation skills
- team player and ability to take ownership and responsibility
