THE ROLE
We are seeking a Senior Legal Counsel for a pharmaceutical company in Switzerland. The role involves advising on commercial matters, including market access, partnerships, and promotional activities across global markets. The successful candidate will support affiliates with legal guidance and serve as a legal advisor to country leads, providing practical risk assessments for business decisions. Proficiency in English is essential for this role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Advise on commercial matters including market access, partnerships, and promotional activities across global marketsDraft and negotiate agreements related to product distribution and marketing in regions without local entitiesSupport affiliates with legal input on engagements with external stakeholders such as regulators, payers, and partnersManage legal aspects of sales operations, including contracts with healthcare providers and wholesalersAddress and resolve disputes and legal claims in collaboration with relevant partiesAct as a legal advisor to country leads, offering practical risk assessments for business decisionsContribute to cross-functional initiatives at the leadership level, particularly in commercial strategyWork closely with senior legal leadership on broader legal and corporate mattersYOUR PROFILE
Master of Law and admission to the bar in Switzerland or an EU jurisdictionMinimum of 7–10 years of legal experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a strong focus on commercial legal mattersDemonstrated expertise in contract negotiation and commercial transaction supportFluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills Independent, well-organized, and proactive, with a collaborative approach to team dynamics
