Your mission at Climeworks is to shape and create the accounting setup as the company grows from 200 to 1000+ people including international expansion

- You will lead a strong accounting team and plan staffing for a rapidly growing company.
- You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payment runs across all units, posting accounts payables and processing invoices including dunning for past due invoices.
- You monitor cost reimbursements, reconcile accounts and have an overview of depreciation and accruals in compliance with accounting standard.
- You are responsible for timely monthly and annual financial statements according to the Swiss Code of Obligations (OR) and Swiss GAAP FER. In addition, you coordinate the annual audit for all units.
- You support the preparation of internal and external financial reports for the Board of Directors, investors and other key stakeholders in close coordination with the controlling department.
- You are in charge of the accounting processes in the ERP System and their improvements. Furthermore, you support in preparing internal and external reports and work closely with our lead controller.
- You hold a B.A. in Business Administration / Accounting (preferred) or have completed a professional certificate in accounting or equivalent education (Eidg. Fachausweis). Additional accounting qualifications (ACCA/CPA) are a big plus.
- You have more than 7 years of work experience in accounting in an international corporate environment including experience with leading and growing teams.
- You have good knowledge and experience working with accounting under the Swiss CO (OR) and Swiss GAAP FER. Experience with IFRS / US GAAP is a plus.
- You are characterized by your structured way of working, your affinity for detail and your organizational talent.
- You are a strong communicator and feel comfortable working in a rapidly growing company and market.
- You are fluent in English and German.
