The Head of Finance is expected to be a highly knowledgeable and capable Finance professional who is adept at working with business partners to understand the company objectives, construct strategies, and execute all our financial activities.

**Responsibilities**

You will lead our financial, administrative, and human resources related activities. You will also play a crucial role in steering the company and positioning it strategically. This is an opportunity to step up and grow with the company into a senior finance and administration professional.

**Tasks**

Finance Operations
- Full company accounting and controlling
- Consolidation across different entities (P&L, balance sheet)Various tax filings (VAT, local taxes, etc.)
- Control, approve and manage various expenses and financial obligations
- Record control including contractual setup, execution (legal contracts, statutory & tax obligations)
- Intercompany setup, execution and monitoring (Cash, Credit, Consolidation,
- Intra-company billing, etc.)
- Dealing with suppliers

Contact person for auditors, lawyers
- Operational and strategic steering of the company
- Operational support
- Cash monitoring and management
- Budgeting, budget tracking, modelling, forecasting
- Revenue monitoring, invoicing and collection
- Company performance: manage and enhance tracking, monitoring and reporting of KPIs
- Fundraising support
- Investor reporting and supporting investor relations
- Further development of accounting and other processes for the entire organisation

Administration
- Invoicing and payments (all subsidiaries)
- Debtor / Creditor management (all subsidiaries)
- Expense management across all categories
- Contract management
- Administrative management of legal entities and shareholders
- ISO support

**Skills**

As head of finance you are a highly-skilled finance professional with a strategic mindset. Next to that you are confident in building relationships with employees at all levels. You have a commercial mindset combined with strong communication and leadership skills.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Accounting or similar required, Master’s Degree preferred
- At least 5 years in a controlling function
- Self-starter, able to learn and grow on the job
- Knowledge of SaaS based booking systems
- Pragmatic sense for when to prioritise working results over perfect solutions
- Ability to build relationships with external and internal stakeholders
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Fluency in English a must.
- Strong communicator able to work with a variety of different stakeholders
- Ability to work in a resource constrained startup environment

Nice to Have
- International experience (US, Europe, eventually Asia) is a plus
- Financial Force know how (our Finance System)
- SaaS knowledge would be a plus

**Reporting**

The role will be reporting directly to the CEO.
