We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Officer to join our team at Swissquote Bank SA. As a Compliance Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our bank operates in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sanctions and Regulatory Compliance
    • Support and advise colleagues on sanctions-related topics, ensuring that our bank's operations are in compliance with all relevant regulations.
    • Monitor and analyze sanctions news and updates, identifying potential impacts on our client database and advising on necessary actions.
  • Reporting and Data Analysis
    • Prepare and submit various reports to senior management and regulatory bodies, providing insights into Compliance activity and key risk indicators.
    • Conduct data analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement, providing recommendations for process optimization.
  • Project Management
    • Assist in managing projects impacting the Compliance department, ensuring timely completion and effective implementation.
  • Other Responsibilities
    • Draft internal memos and presentations, providing clear and concise information on Compliance matters.
    • Support and advise management on Compliance-related issues, providing expert guidance and recommendations.
    • Optimize internal processes and guidelines, ensuring that they are effective and compliant with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Laws, Economics, or a related field, with a strong analytical and methodological approach.
    • 3-5 years of experience in the financial industry, with a focus on Compliance and regulatory affairs.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Excellent knowledge of Swiss banking and financial laws, with expertise in Financial Sanctions a plus.
    • Strong writing and communication skills in English and French, with German language skills a plus.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural and dynamic environment.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and able to prioritize tasks and manage high workloads.
