Strategic Financial Analyst for Michael Kors

As a highly motivated and detail-oriented FP&A Specialist, you will play a critical role in driving financial performance and providing insightful analysis to support key business decisions at Michael Kors.

About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a talented professional with strong analytical skills and a passion for finance to join our Manno office. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and consolidation of annual budgets and monthly forecasts, as well as performing scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to assess the financial impact of business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in building detailed financial models to predict performance and growth, and perform variance analysis against budgets and forecasts to provide actionable insights.
  2. Financial Analysis: Analyze trends in financial performance and identify key drivers of variances and areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to enhance financial performance.
  3. Reporting: Consolidate full EMEA P&L within deadlines, prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports/dashboards to communicate key financial data to management and stakeholders, and ensure reports are accurate, timely, and aligned with organizational goals.
  4. Business Partnership: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and influence financial outcomes, partner with departments to align financial goals with operational strategies, and coordinate with the accounting team to improve accuracy of reporting.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience: Relevant experience in financial planning & analysis, or related roles, preferably in the industry.
  • Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling, ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, and experience / familiarity with ERP systems and financial planning tools (Hyperion, SAP,...).
  • Language: Fluent in spoken and written English, other languages knowledge will be a plus.
What We Offer:
  • Salary: CHF 70,000 - 90,000 per annum, depending on experience.
