About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Investment Compliance Analyst to join our team in Zurich. As a key member of our Institutional Services function, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of comprehensive and holistic client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the analysis and interpretation of fund contracts and investment guidelines
- Assist in the implementation of new products, fund regulations, and investment guidelines within the investment compliance application
- Contribute to the internal project for change to a new strategic solution
- Support the Investment Compliance reporting team
- Participate in projects related to investment compliance and new products
- Document rules and guidelines for audit purposes
- Execute basic and advanced responsibilities of a compliance analyst in the investment compliance environment
- Support other depositary bank-related controls, such as safekeeping of assets, dividend distributions, and expense payments
- Support the oversight of our outsourcing providers and related governance documentation
- Support the depositary bank team in related topics, such as representative and paying agent business and KYC/AML processes
Requirements
- Commercial apprenticeship with a minimum of 1 year of working experience in fund compliance or education within the financial industry
- Experience in a custodian bank or portfolio compliance, investment controlling, risk, or asset management
- Good understanding of the general investment environment, different investment instruments, and markets
- IT affinity
- Coding skills (VBA, SQL, Python), Charles River (CRD) compliance is an advantage
- Knowledge of the Swiss legal and regulatory environment (KAG/KKV/KKV-FINMA/BVV2)
- Fluent in German (written and spoken) and advanced knowledge of English
