As a Global Head of Operations for our Neuroscience & Rare Diseases (NRD) organization, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering advances from research through early Phase 2 trials.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Serve as an in-house consultant to the NRD leadership team, ensuring effective execution of the NRD R&D vision and strategy.
- Thought partner to the Head of NRD on strategic and scientific topics, providing insights and perspectives.
- Monitor and ensure execution of portfolio projects, outlining actions required for research and project team leaders.
- Integrate efforts to deliver on the overall NRD strategy and vision by setting up and maintaining appropriate processes and governance bodies.
- Facilitate portfolio committees, including agenda setting, outcomes, and action items management.
- Help connect NRD with all relevant functions, stakeholders, and partners within the organization.
- Manage a team of operations specialists and administrative assistants.
About You
We're looking for a leader with a keen interest in building a personal network, resourceful and flexible problem-solver who thrives in a dynamic environment. You should have:
- A PhD or MD focused in biology with 10+ years of experience.
- Proven track record in leadership positions, operations, and portfolio management.
- Demonstrated leadership and influence management skills in managing multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent organization and coordination skills.
- Proven ability to apply strategic thinking principles and drive execution of projects.
