About the Role

  • We are seeking an exceptional leader to drive business development, client relationship management, and project leadership for our MEP team.
  • Your expertise in real-world evidence, medical affairs, HEOR, or market access will be instrumental in delivering innovative solutions across the evidence lifecycle.
  • You will collaborate with senior client stakeholders to identify needs and develop custom solutions, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and driving account revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed assigned sales targets by consulting with clients and leading proposal development.
  • Build client intimacy with senior leaders at key accounts to drive real-world evidence opportunities and identify broader IQVIA business opportunities.
  • Serve as the MEP expert for key accounts, collaborating closely across real-world and commercial teams to ensure a coordinated go-to-market approach.

Project Leadership

  • Act as principal-in-charge on client engagements, leading teams of RWS professionals in designing, developing, and delivering complex real-world products.
  • Take ultimate responsibility for client satisfaction and ensuring high-quality delivery that meets or exceeds client expectations.

People Leadership

  • Mentor and coach junior employees to support continuous professional development, both on-projects and through formal coaching programs.
  • Take a leadership role on internal initiatives in Switzerland or globally, such as recruitment, wellbeing, and employee resource groups.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with expertise in real-world evidence, medical affairs, HEOR, or market access.
  • Significant part of previous experience gained in consulting or professional services.
  • Strong interest in developing and delivering innovative solutions across the evidence lifecycle.
  • Proven success in selling complex studies and/or strategic engagements to HQ or global level.
  • A track record in building client relationships, ideally including experience of account strategy.
  • Commercial awareness, including experience in balancing scope management and client relationships to ensure commercial objectives are met.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Proven ability to advance ambiguous or conceptual ideas to decision points, engaging multiple stakeholders internally and with clients.
  • Experience in managing virtual teams and enabling individuals to perform, grow, and deliver client work to high quality and standards.
  • Excellent interpersonal and networking skills, valuing people's opinions and encouraging knowledge sharing.
  • Previous experience in coaching junior team members, ideally in a formal coaching role.
  • Offerings' development experience, familiarity with accepted innovation models (e.g., open innovation, ideation, product platforming) would be beneficial.
  • Leadership experience in complex organizations, demonstrating results in aligning people without formal reporting relationships.

Salary: €80,000 - €120,000 per annum
