Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Field Engineer to join our team. As a Field Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient performance of services delivered to our customers worldwide. This includes providing field activities such as supervision of installation, testing, commissioning, and trainings, as well as executing emergency site interventions and making repairs at site or at our facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the efficient performance of services delivered to customers worldwide
- Provide field activities such as supervision of installation, testing, commissioning, and trainings
- Execute emergency site interventions and make repairs at site or at our facilities
- Support sales and contract execution by providing substation surveys and permissions to site access, making repairing quotations, and identifying new business opportunities
- Manage stock of spare parts and tools, and support logistics operations
Requirements
- Technical degree in Electrical/Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or related
- Electrical hazards and safety training; Maintenance; Protections and control of electrical equipment
- Experience in installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment, ideally with experience in maintenance and DC traction substations
- Fluency in English and French, with any other languages being a plus
- Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time
