Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing business prospecting new clients and managing current accounts for existing and new products covering railway, renewable energy, and industrial applications.
Key Responsibilities- Business Development: Develop business prospecting new clients and manage current accounts for existing and new products.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the sales team, product line managers, product development teams, marketing, and other business units.
- Market Analysis: Identify market opportunities in railway, industrial, and renewable energy applications, guide the development of new business segments, and the product roadmap.
- Product Launch: Prepare product launch and market placement plans in close cooperation with marketing, sales, and product line managers.
- Customer Support: Provide technical expertise, drive customer-oriented activities, implement company strategies, and introduce Sécheron's products on future platforms.
- After-Sales Services: Develop and implement after-sales services.
- Technical Degree: Technical degree in Electrical/Electromechanical/Power Electronics Engineering or alternatively Mechanical Engineering.
- Proven Track Record: Proven successful track record introducing power products to new international clients, thereby driving key people across the organization.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of successful technical and sales experience in an electrical equipment environment.
- Industry Knowledge: Good knowledge of at least one of the following industry sectors: high voltage, railway traction systems, power transmission & distribution, renewable energy, and e-mobility.
- Communication Skills: Excellent analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills, as well as outstanding communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
