We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Legal Counsel to join our team at Aon. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a critical role in providing expert legal advice and guidance to our business units in Switzerland.
Key Responsibilities- Provide legal counsel and support to our Swiss business units on a range of matters, including compliance, risk management, and litigation.
- Advise on changes in Swiss law and regulation, and their impact on our business.
- Manage and report on legal and compliance risks, ensuring that our business operates within a compliant and risk-managed framework.
- Support the negotiation of client and commercial contracts, ensuring that our interests are protected.
- Manage Corporate Law matters, including mergers and acquisitions, and provide expert advice on related transactions.
- Collaborate with our L&C team in the DACH, EMEA, and Group to ensure consistent and effective legal support across our regions.
- Law degree from a Swiss university and Swiss Bar exam.
- At least 5 years of PQE in the insurance or financial services industry, in a law firm or in-house.
- Fluent German, French, and business fluent written and spoken English.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to think strategically.
- Proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work in a cross-regional team and collaborate with colleagues at all levels.
