We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Sales Leader to join our team at Meteomatics. As Head of Sales Europe, you will play a central role in scaling our SaaS revenues and driving growth across our industry segments.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Execute Sales Strategy: Collaborate with our revenue teams to develop and execute a sales strategy that aligns with our overall revenue targets and go-to-market plan.
- Lead European Sales Teams: Lead and manage our European sales teams across four strategic segments: Energy & Utilities, Insurance & Agriculture, Aviation & Transportation, and Defense & Government (drones).
- Grow and Nurture Client Portfolio: Grow and nurture our European client portfolio in close collaboration with our customer success team.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with our marketing, sales development, sales team in the US, customer success, and revenue operations teams to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
- Own European Sales Targets: Own and report on European sales targets, forecasting, and results on a regular basis.
- Work with Customers: Work closely with customers to ensure continuous improvement of our offerings and meet their evolving needs.
- Participate in Marketing Activities: Participate in marketing activities, events, and conferences to promote our brand and offerings.
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree: Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Meteorology, or a related field.
- Sales Leadership Experience: Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in sales leadership roles and 10 years of overall professional experience.
- Proven Sales Track Record: Demonstrate a proven track record of building strong sales funnels and driving structured end-to-end sales processes.
- Weather Industry Experience: Prior experience in the Weather Industry is highly valued.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English is required, with proficiency in other European languages, especially German and French, being a plus.
