Territory Sales Manager

We're seeking a skilled professional to maintain relationships with customers and distributors, understanding their requirements and developing solutions to meet their needs. This role involves managing complex accounts with multiple stakeholders and locations, with an estimated 50% travel time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a sales strategy to achieve sales quotas in assigned territories, focusing on channel, end-users, and installers.
  • Continuously scan for prospects with current or new customers to achieve new sales, expand offerings within the account, and populate the account pipeline consistently.
  • Provide regular updates via CRM on account and conversion status of target accounts.
  • Provide extensive product and solutions training for customers and distributors, responding to customer questions and ensuring resolution.
  • Lead negotiations by collaborating with others to arrive at a conclusion using compromise, persuasion, and influence, both internally and externally in a selling environment.

Requirements:

  • University degree or equivalent experience or technical qualification in electrical engineering is preferred.
  • 3+ years of proven sales experience in the electrical or industrial market, preferably selling through a channel model.
  • Demonstrated skills associated with selling to multiple types of customers, including distributors, consultants, engineers, end-users, OEMs, MROs, and contractors.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and work in a self-directed manner.
  • Demonstrated skills to develop and deliver effective presentations and proposals.
