Overview

Takeda seeks a seasoned professional to lead its global investigations team. As the Global Investigations Director, you will oversee the assessment of misconduct concerns, determine investigation types and teams, and conduct high-quality, independent investigations.

This role involves overall accountability for E&C investigation processes, overseeing the company's ethics reporting hotline, and guiding a global team in investigating serious allegations of misconduct.

You will ensure timely and appropriate case management, present findings and insights to senior leadership forums, and liaise with governmental investigators, third-party auditors, and other external entities.

The position focuses on continuously enhancing investigation processes and governance, including through innovative use of technology.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of investigators.
  • Determine case tiering and management in partnership with HR, Legal, and Finance.
  • Ensure investigations align with legal, regulatory, and company policies.
  • Manage investigation budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial guidelines.
  • Enhance risk management by collaborating with E&C, HR, Legal, Financial Controls, and Internal Audit.
  • Provide support for local investigations outside the scope of the global Investigations team.
  • Cultivate relationships with HR People Advisory Group (PAG) and E&C Culture and Values team.
  • Implement technical solutions to improve misconduct handling, including innovative uses of technology.
  • Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders, including senior leaders.

Requirements

  • At least 15 years of experience in investigations, including 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven expertise in managing complex, sensitive, and/or high-risk global investigations within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong leadership, communication, judgment, and analytical skills.
  • Deep understanding of pharmaceutical regulatory requirements and compliance.

Estimated Salary Range

$252,000 - $396,000 per year
