As a Manager Data Center and Infrastructure, you'll lead a dynamic team of experts in operating, maintaining, and developing our data centers, server, and network infrastructure. Your focus will be on ensuring the stable operation of our services, scaling our infrastructure, and optimizing our network. You'll also play a key role in helping us transition our services to carbon-neutrality by identifying CO2 emitters and finding alternative solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of 4 engineers responsible for data center and network services
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure sustainable service delivery
- Operate, maintain, and renew the entire high-availability datacenter infrastructure
- Be involved in choosing general hardware choices
- Manage external supplier relationships
- Manage and deliver mid-size projects
- Work with the SRE, Video, and Dev teams to define and document standards and architectures
- 5+ years managing network or datacenter engineering teams
- 10+ years working in Internet-related fields
- Extensive experience with Data Center operations and planning
- In-depth understanding of CDN concepts
- Experience in selecting, testing, and deploying hardware
- Knowledgeable in network engineering procedures, best practices, and implementation of network documentation and diagramming
- Willingness to learn new technologies and maintain industry knowledge
- Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize projects according to organizational direction
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with multiple teams
